Engineer at CEG and prior work as a Senior Construction Manager for Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Specialties
are substation design, engineering for generator interconnection and design, SCADA projects and construction management and
planning services for wind farm electrical systems. Mr. Granquist leads CEG’s efforts on wind turbine generator projects
ranging from small single turbine projects to large wind farms. Recent projects include the first utility scale wind turbine
owned by a college (Carleton College, Northfield MN), design of several wind farm substations, and turnkey design-build projects
for wind farm substations and collection systems in Minnesota and North Dakota.

includes System Engineer for Dakota Electric Association and Planning Engineer for Cooperative Power Association.
Specialties are distribution system analysis, planning, and system protection. Mr. Bartholomay has
been responsible for all of Dakota Electric’s system planning studies, both on staff and as a consultant, for the past
10 years. Other recent projects include a Connexus Energy Backfeed Study, Goodhue Cooperative Long Range
Plan and Construction Work Plan, Cass County Cooperative Substation Evaluation, and the Great River Energy Long Range Transmission
Plan.

operations responsibilities for McLeod Cooperative Power Association and Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative. Specialties
are planning and design of transmission and distribution lines and substations. Mr. Malamen has prepared
planning studies for the Municipal Power Systems of Litchfield and Redwood Falls, MN and Watertown, SD, as well as his previous
co-op planning experience. Recent training presentations include NESC training for Dakota Electric field
design staff and distributed generation interconnection requirements presentations at regional power conferences.

CRN experience includes co-author of the Voltage Regulator Buyers report, a Load Management White Paper, and technical review
of several CRN publications. Presentation experience includes NRECA and DA/DSM presentations on Distribution
Automation and SCADA, and Distributed Generation presentations at regional power conferences.
