Site Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager for a contract to hire, or immediate direct hire career opportunity. Candidate will travel to various construction sites including projects in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas.

Responsibilities

· Manage the construction of substation, collection system and related electrical facilities.

· Ensure smooth coordination between project site personnel and various external entities and internal groups.

· Comply with operating budgets, construction schedules, track purchasing timelines and other plans to ensure on-time delivery of units. Receive and track materials.

· Maintain site QA/QC program, document work progress and report to main office.

Requirements

· Applicants should possess a four-year degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years supervisory and/or managerial experience in power project construction – preferable in wind power.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Basic computer skills, including email, MS Office, etc. Questions you will be asked:

Project Engineer – Electrical

Consulting Engineers Group (CEG), located in Farmington, MN is looking for highly-motivated individuals to work on a variety of electric power system and renewable energy interconnection projects. CEG provides engineering design and project management for power system projects for electric utility and industrial clients.

The position requires a BS degree in electrical engineering with five years experience on electric utility or generation interconnection projects. Expertise in wiring and control and related areas is desired. The position involves project site management and design work at our offices. Good written and oral communication skills are required.
