BESS Project Engineer (EPC)

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary & Benefits: $80,000 to $120,000 annually. Insurance benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life. Additional benefits include a 401(k) Plan with company contributions, paid time off, and profit sharing.

Position Overview:

We are looking for engineers and project managers who are eager to shape the future of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will help manage our BESS EPC efforts as a part of a growing team. Whether you're early in your career or bringing senior-level experience, you'll directly contribute to shaping the processes, procedures, and technical standards that support our long-term growth and mission. This position involves approximately 20% travel to project locations and facilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and oversee the procurement and scheduling of materials for construction projects

  • Coordinate with project engineers to ensure quality electrical drawings and design

  • Track project milestones and manage project using software tools such as Microsoft Project or similar

  • Review customer specifications and provide contract support

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field

  • 3-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience on EPC battery energy storage systems or utility-scale renewables projects

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bonus If You Bring:

  • Previous experience in electrical design or system studies

  • Proficiency in project management software

  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 855, UL 9540)
